Getting ready to start an instrument, but not sure which one to choose?
Students will meet* a different instrument each week (piano, violin, viola, cello, flute, harp and guitar), and have a chance to try each one. They will also experience concepts of musical language, and some very basic music theory, through hands-on games, singing, and listening activities - all of which prepare them for confident instrument study.
Caregivers will discover how best to support instrument learning in young children.
*Please note, this is exposure and a little hands-on time with each, to help narrow down choices. We are not teaching children how to play in this class - that happens in our instrument specific classes, Suzuki program, or Private Lessons.
