About these programs: Our summer 2022 small-cohort half day programs allow for a 3.5 to 1 student to staff ratio, offering each child plenty of attention and musical support while still building a cohesive and creative group experience!

Summer half day programs are inside in an open area with open windows, A/C, and ultra-HEPA air filtering (to 0.003 microns). We will follow all local and state health protocols recommended at the time of camp. A full list of health protocols will be provided to prospective participants.

You can attend the morning, afternoon or both sessions. There is supervised lunch break provided between sessions at no extra charge for those attending both sessions.

Creative Music & Arts for Strings and Piano - half day mornings

Join us for this one-of-a-kind experience that will get your creative juices flowing! Our small summer morning cohort will spend the week weaving music, art and storytelling into an end-of-week performance.

Campers will work at their own level with the building blocks of music – rhythm, melody, harmony and texture – while learning to improvise, play by ear, and create stories with music and art.

Maximum enrollment: 10 students

Date: July 11-15

Summer Fiddling Fun for String Players - half day afternoons

If you can violin/viola/cello/bass/guitar you can fiddle! String at all levels on any string instrument, from near-beginner up, can join and will be able to participate at their own level.

You’ll meet the repertoire and styles of different fiddle traditions including Irish and Scottish, American and more, and learn fun fiddling techniques like the chop, double chop, waterfall, wiggle and flick!

You’ll play creative musical games, and experiment with open-ended, curious ways of playing that seek to “see what happens” musically, rather than trying to reach a preconceived result.
